  8. The software posted here is available in two formats (.sea & .exe):

  10. 1.  One self-extracting archives of Disk Copy 1440k DOS disk images.  To use,
  11. download to a Macintosh, double-click the downloaded file (this decompresses
  12. it), and use Disk Copy to create the DOS disk.
  13. 2.  One .exe archive of Windows95 files.  To use, download this file, then
  14. extract to your hard drive.

  27.         ABOUT YOUR APPLE LASERWRITER PRINTER SOFTWARE FOR WINDOWS 95

  29.         This document describes how to setup your Apple LaserWriter
  30.         printer on a system containing Windows 95.
  31.  
  32.         For a Windows 95 system this floppy disk contains the software
  33.         you need to setup these printers:
  34.                 Apple LaserWriter 16/600 PS
  35.                 Apple Color LaserWriter 12/600 PS
  36.                 
  37.         Follow these steps:
  38.  
  39.         1. Click on the "Start" icon of the Task-Bar and select
  40.            "Settings" and "Printers".
  41.  
  42.         2. Double-Click on the "Add Printer" icon and follow the
  43.            instruction prompts of the "Add Printer Wizard".
  44.  
  45.         3. The list of known printers appears in the "Add Printer
  46.            Wizard" window. Insert the diskette labeled
  47.            "for Windows 95" into the floppy drive and press the 
  48.            "Have Disk" button. Then, press "OK".
  49.  
  50.         4. A menu allowing you to choose either the Apple Color
  51.            LaserWriter or the Apple LaserWriter 16/600 PS appears.
  52.            Select the desired printer model and press the
  53.            "Next" button.
  54.  
  55.         5. Continue to follow the prompts of the "Add Printer
  56.            Wizard" to select the port, enter a name for the printer,
  57.            indicate whether it should be the default printer, and
  58.            optionally, to print a test page. Press the "Finish"
  59.            button. The needed files are copied from the floppy
  60.            disk to your system. This completes the installation.

  62.         Note: Please setup network client first if you want to
  63.         install the printer as network printer. You may select either
  64.         Client for NetWare Network from Microsoft or Novell NetWare
  65.         (Workstation Shell) as your network client.
